Day 1: Boise, ID to Clarkston, WA via Enterprise, OR was a 340-mile day. I-84 out of Boise to Baker City was a stuporslab drone, but SR-203 to La Grande sure was a nice change of pace. SR-82 from La Grande to Enterprise was a rather unchallenging ride. ;^)

Southbound SR-129 winding downwards towards Grande Ronde River in WA. This was the most enjoyable part of the ride that first day.
We stopped for cold ones at Boggan's Oasis. It had been a fairly cold day at least until we arrived here where it was warm for a change.

Day 2: Clarkston, WA to Missoula, MT via Thompson Falls consumed 346-miles. We took Old Spiral Hwy from Clarkston to US-95 which dumped us out in Plummer for lunch. It was another cold and windy day so I only took a couple of pics.
Overhead view of SR-5 which was an absolutely amazing and beautifully banked motorcycle road from Hayburn SP to St. Maries, ID. That was the best motorcycle road on the 2nd day.
We followed SR-3 north out of St. Maries to eastbound I-90 and, after getting off in Kingston, had a little beer-bbq feast at the Snake Pit Restaurant & Saloon at Enaville Resort. Onwards to Missoula via Thompson Falls.

Day 3: Missoula, MT to Clarkston, WA took a mere 220-miles. This was, by far, the most enjoyable ride of the entire trip between Lolo and Kooskia.
We decided to stop at the Lochsa Lodge in Powell, ID. Wanted to check it out as we had never been there before.
Sinclair gas station/store at Lochsa Lodge is quite popular with motorcyclists.

US-12 (Northwest Passage Scenic Byway) curls east from the Cougar Canyon Station in Lowell where the Middle Fork Clearwater River, Lochsa River, and Selway River converge.

Day 4: Clarkston, WA to Boise, ID via McCall was a fairly long stretch of 377-miles. It was 110 degrees out by the time we reached Hells Canyon.

We stopped for a hearty breakfast on Mike's tab after arriving at Boggan's Oasis that morning.

We grabbed cold ones on the patio at Outlaw Restaurant & Saloon in Joseph, OR. Unfortunately, we didn't have the time to see Wallowa Lake. ;^(
